What's the betting on a new track featuring on one of the new deluxe editions?

If so, I don't think it will be on the 1st album release. The only songs that I am aware of that were kicking around at that time but missed the cut eventually found their way onto later albums. However, unlike others on this forum, I am not a RM authority ( just an enthusiast) so I can't be certain about this. Can anybody clarify ?
If there is anything lurking in the vault from early 1972 then it is a pretty good bet that it will feature. It would certainly be a real disappointment if it didn't.

Perhaps there could be live tracks recorded in early tours of various songs that didn't make it on to Viva! I would love to here an early live version of Song for Europe. Ans what about a live version of Seranade with TGPT in fine form? That would be great IMHO. I just don't want anything from the tour that included The Sirens on b/vocals. But the early '75 touring band with John Wetton on bass deserves a documentary record!!!

Ahh........I meant a new new track, ie a juicy titbit from the last round of studio noodlings as a sort of "last word" offering.

I think you're harbouring false hopes, BE; from what (admittedly little) has been said, each deluxe box will focus on the period when it was originally recorded & released.
We've got our fingers crossed that the first one (the debut album)will include a CD of the band's original demo tape, plus the BBC radio sessions and a DVD of any concert footage still in existence.
I think it far more likely that any unreleased Roxy stuff from the past decade will be polished and end up on the next BF solo album (or at least the next one that's not cover versions). Sad (and possibly unfair on the other Roxy members...), but there you go...
