I have to get this off my chest. I am posting at this department so that maybe the targets of my criticism won`t be that offended. Many of the postings at viva lately are really redundant. Some posters seem to have taken over the site completely by their mindless adoration. Their issues are far-fertched and pathetic, and their language full of British idioms. They are really threading waters, while nothing is really happening at the BF/Roxy front.

Charming! There was a wonderful comment about Roxy Music fans in one of the Roxy books (they're not to hand so I can't provide a name-check), it was along the lines of "You'd have to go a long way to find a thick Roxy fan." Norway, it appears. Love to everybody else.

I think it would be wrong for us Brits to claim credit for all the excrement posted on VRM, but at least the lead post in this thread helps to redress the balance...

There is a great saying. "You have got to be very, very clever, to act daft". I have it down to a fine art. Could lecture you on the subject. You are just daft.

Cher Monsieur le freak, Sorry that you were feeling so sad - you had clearly had a bad day at the turntable. It's at times like this that Ferryistas all over the world should reach out to you and explain that we've all had difficult times. Sometimes our Berlutis get scuffed, we can't get the correct knot in our dark blue knitted Chavets or even worse, our tailors don't deliver on time. In short, stuff happens but, we live through it and simply spin another Roxy disc to help us make it through the day. Stay cool Monsieur le freak we have TJA to listen to and AEWBF will soon be with us - life is good. Regards, Windswept. Ps. The expression is "tread water" not "thread water".

Tread water! Thanks! I can do without the correct knot in our dark blue knitted Chavets. Spin another Roxy disc, ha-ha! They`re all played to death years and years ago! More people should probably step down from the peanut gallery and take part in this dangerous arena. I don`t care for TJA. You`ve got Rod Stewart doing this, Paul McCartney doing this, and now even Eric Clapton doing this. Nice, but not stunning.
