Windswept, I like to think the romantic side in me would see BF do this for the love of music and his fans too. But, Its convincing BF to think alike that's the trick. x
A Jazz festival might appeal to him that little bit more. When is this happening Roxy?

Roxy wrote: I am sure the BFO would go down well at The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival Dear Roxy, What a sensational idea. I looked at the link and it is very appealing. I'm beginning to wonder were I've been all my life. Edinburgh is one of my favourite cites. July is a great month to be there and independent of our desire to see TBFO hit the road, I think I'll go anyway. It's just a damn shame that Curtis Stigers has sold out at Le Monde, dirty martini. Without TBFO, he would have been my top choice. Regards, Windswept

Windswept, that was this years line up, 2012. Curtis has long been and gone! I posted the link to give an idea of the type of acts that appear. I think it would suit the BFO very well as you are not dependant on your own fans for ticket sales and would attract a wide range of music fans. I'm sure some of the band members of the BFO will have played the event in the past, The Queens Hall would be ideal.

A fabulous idea for BFO and a fabulous idea for me. Mrs.Windswept loves Edinburgh. I will sell it to her based on romance and then spring a Ferry related activity on her when we get there! Seriously, I think your idea and those like it are spot on for the Jazz scene and the launch of TJA. Have a great weekend, Regards, Windswept

Thanks Roxy.
That would be more ideal as a one off with the BFO, for all the reasons you have mentioned.
I also sense a birthday weekend away in there too....
Anyway, next year sees the launch of the brand new BF album. Hope we get lots of self penned stuff I'm expecting the odd cover to be present, who wouldn't, and I have an added fave to the mix in there too, in the likes of Johnny Marr so every reason for me to be even more excited for that to arrive than the Jazz album.
......and a tour of course.....

You see, put a visual to the music and you get a completely different mood and feel. This is lovely. Shot in Ronnie Scotts too... Now that's either a coincidence or our very own Windswept has some kind of sixth sense and can also see a gig hidden somewhere in them tea-leaves..haha
