I was wondering how the forum predicts TJA will fare over the pond?

There seems to be a simmering of pre-Gatsby 1920's buzz.

My wife works in fashion and she says everything at the moment is nodding to the 1920s

According to IMDB the GG film comes out in May, hopefully people will be drawn to TJA as a 1920's reference piece...?

If TJA gets reviewed in the big National Public Radios shows (All Things Considered and Morning Edition) or on "Fresh Air with Terry Gross" it might get a bit of national buzz in the States. BF/Roxy have some cachet in the NPR world so this is not unlikely. But if NPR decides to pass on profiling TJA it will sink out of sight in the USA pretty quickly.

no American or Canucks in here? I'll keep my eyes open. As ya'll know, fans here are fickle as a pickle.

Yeah, I've heard of Canada. It's a fascinating place.

Let's check out what the CIA World Factbook has to say about it!

https://www.cia.gov/library/publication ... s/ca.html#

Lots of energy resources that it hopes and plans to continue to export. That's nice. Something to offset the effect of Celine Dion on world culture.

Hmmm. 35th largest nation in the world, only a few million smaller than Algeria or Ukraine or Argentina or Poland. And about one tenth the population of the USA.

Canadians are a great bunch of people. What's not to love!

DCJ, (Does Canada Jazz?)

You forgot to mention that Montreal hosts the world's largest jazz festival, and it's not just jazz. I emailed Bryan's site about maybe coming here, but as usual, they don't answer. I can't stand arrogance.

If I was Bryan, I'd pop in here once in awhile and say hello and would thank you all for paying for my fancy suits, slick ties, and groovy shoes, oh, and blue jeans, not to mention the furs!

And we got Eskimos here! Actually, they're called Inuit now.

Bryan knows that Montreal has the most beautiful women in the world, including Michele. RIP Michele.
