As far as I can tell, these releases are from the televised Rockpop gig in Dortmund; the first time Roxy performed Jealous Guy, I think.
Others here will correct me if I'm wrong, I hope, but I think there were two separate shows, with the shorter one featuring 11 songs and the longer one 14. It is possible to source both shows (plus bonus tracks) on one bootleg DVD-R, so the forthcoming "legitimate" DVD release (one show plus bonus tracks, I believe) doesn't even seem to offer all that should be available.
I may buy the CD version, even if it's only the audio soundtrack of the DVD, as I haven't seen it in bootleg CD-R lists. I suspect that it may be one which gets several audio releases, though, much as the '73-'74 Musikladen and '79 Denver ("Concerto") ones did...

Oops! Need to correct my own post here... Confused myself with the 25 track bootleg DVD-R: it's actually made up of 19 Rockpop tracks from Dortmund '80 (8 from the shorter first show & 11 from the longer second one) plus 6 bonus tracks (taken from other German TV appearances, I believe). I'm led to believe that the forthcoming "legitimate" issues will have 14 tracks in total: the longer Rockpop show plus 3 of the afore-mentioned bonus tracks. Apologies for any confusion caused.

Please confirm .Did Roxy perform 2 shows that day ? And what are the extra songs ? I only have Bogus Man,Trash, Rain, Flesh,Oh Yeah, Song for, My Only, Thrill, Editions,Strand and Jealous Guy. I wasn't aware there's more available from that show. Or from any other shows.

Ian,
You have the longer set; the shorter one featured the same songs minus My Only Love, The Thrill Of It All & Do The Strand.
Everything I've read suggests it was two separate sets, rather than long/short versions of the same broadcast, but it would be good if someone out there could confirm or deny this.

If they are the show(s) that I am thinking they are, it will be the first shows without Paul and Micheal Dawe was on drums. On the Internet I have seen Thrill & J, Guy. In my opinion Bryan murdered them both. Don't know about the rest of them.

Hard to get excited about this release. Unofficial and tacky looking. As already noted, the (appalling) cover photo is out of synch with the period the CD purports to cover and how can 'More Than This' be attributed to a tour that pre-dates its recording by up to two years? Finally, others might know better than me, but I don't recall Roxy performing 'The Price Of Love'. That might be a shortcoming in my knowledge, but right now it just serves to make this look like something thrown together that isn't worth parting with a penny. I wish Roxy had the same control over output as they managed to maintain for so long, but alas unscrupulous labels seem able to get away with this sort of rubbish.

Got my copy today (sad that I am) The picture quality is about the same as the first bootleg copy I had and vastly inferior to the copy I have now, the audio track might just be better but picture wise woeful. The additional tracks, same old scene is from a German TV show (summer 1980 as the band are in the stage costumes from the early part of the tour) more than this is again a TV appearance from European TV (Ferry in bow tie and suit) and the price of love is the standard '76 video though titled for the '87 remix. The two Roxy performances are available on youtube and are far superior in picture quality. On the whole very disappointing as I was looking forward to having a proper dvd of the show, hope the cd is better.

Let me second that. This is a shockingly poor product and isn't worth buying period. Stick to YouTube!

I've ordered the CD from a US seller on Amazon.co.uk, in the hope that the audio quality is better than the visual (the latter has been slated here). Only paid just over £6 including postage, so it seemed worth a punt. I fear I may need to correct my earlier assumption about the DVD here; a friend and fellow VRM member has a bootleg copy and is fairly sure that the two "shows" are long/short versions of the same broadcast, rather than two separate sets.
