Wow  That's quite a steep price rise. I wonder if the other merchandise was increased too?!!

On 12th March 2011 Roxy told me (politely) in this thread that it was high time that I posted a photo of my signed tour poster. Two years later to the exact day (the attached photo, assuming this works, was taken before midnight) I hope I might be able to do something to redeem myself...

The lack of a decent (i.e. high res) phone camera or scanning equipment left me slightly stuffed, so I imposed on a dinner guest at Chateau Smudge... step forward and take a bow, J.O'B! :D

Rather than post another photo of the tour merchandise, I got John to snap my pride and joy: my framed, fully autographed FYP cover. If Chateau Smudge was on fire and I could only save one person or thing... (well, if Mrs Smudge was in the same situation, I think her Jimmy Choo handbag would outlive me! )

For the record, TGPT & AM set the ball rolling at a Metaphors gig at Pigalle in Piccadilly Circus (Nov '08); PM followed at Ronnie Scott's (Feb '09); then Eno at the stage door of the South Bank Centre (Apr '09, following his conversation show with Jon Hassell); finally BF was cornered at his Olympia signing session in Selfridge's (autumn '10).

That is a rare beauty Smudge. Possibly the best piece of fan memorabilia/possession I ever seen. I mean Eno for gods sake!!! Priceless. well done you.

Helen, I'm just glad I got all the signatures myself, as I'd never have believed Eno's was genuine; I can't even work out which way up it is!

The "current" four Roxy members were all very approachable (although BF's was an arranged signing, I've met him briefly once since then) and PM & TGPT were very friendly & chatty. Poor old Eno was like a rabbit caught in the headlights, though, and seemed quite shocked that anyone was waiting for him; he only signed for one other guy before his staff whisked him away by car. I've been told several times that his signature is notoriously hard to obtain, so I was relieved as much as happy that April evening!
