Interesting interview, thanks Roxy. BF is certainly being rather more forthcoming in his responses lately, perhaps because his current activity elicits some rather more imaginative questions?

Thanks for posting this.
Although a lot of it is familiar , it was interesting to hear him respond to some of Jake Rudh's very direct questions about his personal music taste.
Not surprisingly, Memphis soul comes across as one key influence — interestingly enough, one of our hero's great contemporaries, Boz Scaggs, has just released a simply amazing soul album simply called "Memphis" — well worth a listen. It's terrific!
