It`s not evening with Bryan Ferry, only an evening with Colin Good

Cher Uwe,
I suspect this is reference to the fact that part of the set list comprises TJA. Given that I love this album to death, this is a good thing.
Naturellement Monsieur Good is there for the entire evening.
We need him to direct the music, tinkle the ivories and generally make sure we have a damn fine fandango!
Regards,
Windswept

Move on up now seems to have bitten the dust, the interesting song choices are going one by one.

Yes, the set list is changing. For the U.K. tour, I hope they will reintroduce "Another time..." and "Chain Reaction".
I`m going to RAH. Without my wife, so should be nice to meet other Ferry-fans.
By the way, just a small thing, Uppsala, Sweden, is spelled with only one "l"!

I'm going to glastonbury this evening, and am prepared for a watered down commercialised greatest hits romp. Compromise. But the weather should be good, and I'm in a tolerant mood.
But I've also booked to see Bry in winter (Brighton) and will be very disappointed not to see move on up, atap etc. I really, really don't want the indoor fall/winter gigs to be the same old same scene again. If they do turn out that way, count me out.

Really enjoyed glastonbury.
Harley was good. Then it lulled a bit with Colin and the jazz numbers (I tried but I could not find a way to love them). Then bf came on and suddenly there was a lift, and it all started to make sense. The set list worked well for the (enthusiastic) audience. I really like the fusion of styles on some of the new arrangements. I also love the 20s girls. Bf looked to be enjoying himself....and that made a difference. Mrs roxysiren loved it too, and she's not the biggest fan (despite having been force fed a diet of rm/bf music and concerts over the past 30 years.
Imnsho, a much more satisfying experience than the shepherds bush gig (which didn't move me much, sadly) or guilfest.

So, I've had my enthusiasm rekindled.

PS with hindsight, The Colin Good orchestra schtick at the beginning was a good support act, though no cockney rebel. And it certainly aint bryan ferry :)

Cher RoxySiren,
This is all 'Good' news if you excuse the pun!
Looks like our hero pulled it off and with the support of some gorgeous 'Flappers' as well — perhaps he does visit this hallowed cyber hall occasionally?
This all warms the cockles of my heart. Now all we have to do is lobby the boy to reinstate ATAP & Move On Up and for Isaac to come up with some backdrop visuals based on the Colin art and we will have the perfect cocktail — and all before the RAN and Brighton.
Oh, I almost forgot — the tour book maestro please!
Regards,
Windswept.

WS2, I can happily report that there was a white tux on display. Before you get too excited, however, I have to tell you that it was adorning the frame of a member of the audience and not the main attraction. Well done that man - and Bryan, please note.
