The official Bryan Ferry shop is now open. Copies of the Bryan Ferry + Roxy Music back catalogue are now for sale signed by Bryan Ferry and are now available as well as some new video clips to download.
The recent interview with Phil Manzanera on BBC Radio 2 is archived here for a limited period. Phil plays an improvised piece live on the show as well as discussing his latest solo album as well as Roxy Music. Phil confirms the secret show done by Roxy Music in May earlier this year. I was asked by many people through e-mail to this site about this show and for that reason alone I took the opportunity when interviewing Phil in July to confirm this. He said at that time the show did not take place and who am I to argue with the bands guitarist. I assume there were reasons for this denial at that time presumably relating to the fact the show was a private corporate show with potential privacy clauses.
I have received a lot of information from reliable sources in the past which they have then changed their mind on and had to be changed. A confirmed show in Bath which was then cancelled in June as well as the Liverpool show which was cancelled then back on again within the space of an hour all confirmed by official sources are recent examples of this. This site became on occasions like that a victim of its own efficiency by being updated almost instantly when news comes in. I would just like to take this opportunity to say that all the information on this site is confirmed by reliable sources at the time of adding to the site. Any changes to that information are not due to the lack of confirmation on my part and rather a change of plan by the artists and/or their management. I am sure the regular visitors here know that anyway.
As you know this site is run by a fan for fans. I do not claim to have any journalistic skills but I am sure you all appreciate that and I make no promises other than I will add any information I receive as soon as I possibly can after receiving it.
