A Year in the Life.......

2011  has proved to be a busy year for Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Paul Thompson. Next year is the 40th anniversary of the release of the first Roxy Music album and single. Plans to celebrate this include a 'deluxe' edition of the first album as a box set which will include many rare/unseen/unreleased photos and recordings.

Thanks again to the many Roxy Music fans who vist this site regularly and a special thanks to all those who contribute to the site to help share and distribute information to the visitors of    www.VivaRoxyMusic.com

Roxy Music complete their 7 date UK tour at the O2 in London before heading to Australia.

Bryan Ferry performs 'You Can Dance' on the Letterman Show on USA TV

March 2011

Roxy Music perform their final show at Villa Maria Estate Winery, New Zealand on Sunday 6th March 2011

April 2011

Bryan Ferry finds himself in hospital with an illness and has to re-schedule the start of his forthcoming tour.

May 2011

Bryan Ferry begins the 'Olympia Tour' in Denmark on 21st may 2011

June 2011

Bryan Ferry continues the 'Olympia Tour' with dates throughout Europe and at the same time announces his first solo dates in America for 9 years.

July 2011

Bryan Ferry and his band are taken by helicopter after his Hop Farm Festival show to perform at the wedding of supermodel and Olympia cover girl Kate Moss

August 2011

Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera has his guitar riff from K – Scope  used by Kanye West and Jay-Z on his album 'Watch The Throne.'

September 2011

Bryan Ferry completes the European leg of the 'Olympia Tour' before heading to USA where he opens the Stateside leg of the tour in Miami, his first solo tour in USA since the 'Frantic Tour' of 2002

October 2011

The American leg of the tour ends in Los Angeles on 15th October.

November 2011

Bryan Ferry received his CBE from The Queen at Buckingham Palace.

December 2011

Bryan Ferry completes the 'Olympia Tour' with two shows at Shepherds Bush Empire in London.
