2012 in summary:
31 December 2012
This year has been another hectic year in the Roxy Music world. It was the 40th anniversary of the release of the first Roxy Music album and single and a box set was released incorporating the band’s entire recorded output. Bryan Ferry and Phil Manzanera had solo releases as well as live dates.
The year was also tinged with sadness with the death of the original Roxy Music bassist Graham Simpson

Bryan Ferry and Amanda Sheppard got married in a private wedding ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands on 4th January

Bryan Ferry performed 'Slave To Love' and 'Don't Stop The Dance' in front of a packed audience with many huge names from the world of sport at the Laureus World Sports Awards on Monday 6th February.

Phil Manzanera and Jack Bruce performed at the Karl Marx theatre in Cuba

Phil Manzanera appeared as a guest at a show by Chris Spedding's band King Mob at the 02 Acadamy in Islington.
April 2012

Bryan Ferry took part at a special event in Belfast's Waterfront Hall on 14 April coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

Roxy Music’s original bassist Graham Simpson died on Monday 16th April aged 68

Phil Manzanera released ‘Nth Entities, on 30 April on his label, Expression Records. This album is a collaboration with poet, Anna Le. It is a collection of nine poems, which Anna Le recites to Manzanera’s original compositions.

The Complete Roxy Music box set was released on 6th August 2012 containing all 8 studio albums and 2 CDS with all the non album tracks spread over their 7" & 12" singles.

An interview with Bryan Ferry was broadcast on the 'Today' show on BBC Radio 4 on Monday 15th October 2012.
November 2012

The Bryan Ferry Orchestra released The Jazz Age on 26th November. The album launch was held at Annabel’s in London 4 days earlier.

A forthcoming tour ‘An Evening With Bryan Ferry’ was announced the same day.
