There is an interview with Phil Manzanera in the June 2013 issue (368) of 'Guitarist' magazine. Titled “Roxy Lady” (p75) it describes how the red Firebird VII came into his ownership in 1972 for £165 second hand. It has a double page spread of the guitar plus another two pages of photos and text. This edition of the magazine is dedicated to 50 years of the Firebird
