The Same Old Scene

When Roxy Music released their third single from the Flesh + Blood album they re-named the track 'Same Old Scene' as on the album but was written as 'The Same Old Scene' on the single.The song was used on the soundtrack to the film 'Times Square'. It was played live during the Flesh + Blood tour in 1980 and remained unplayed until the Roxy Music tour in 2011 and first show on Bryan Ferry's Olympia tour.
The single reached number 12 in UK and was backed with a non album track, Lover, in the UK. The Japanese & Dutch versions had My Only Love as a b-side, with Rain Rain Rain as the b-side to the French pressing. Same Old Scene was also used as the b-side to Jealous Guy in Hungary.
