Yanick Etienne is a Haitian singer that Bryan Ferry met in the Power Station studios during the recording of the Avalon album and asked her to sing on the title track.
She toured with Bryan during his solo 1988/89 World Tour. She also joined the Roxy Music world tour of 2001 in New York and remained with the tour until the end of the North American leg. Yanick also appeared at some European dates and can be ssen at the final show on the Live At The Apollo DVD. The 2001 tour represented the first time that she had sung live with Roxy Music.
Yanick released her album 'Love Songs For You' in October 2004.
